Cadence has a great beat, and plenty of rest

Old and smelly
The system was down upon arrival. After a very long day of travel we arrived and were unable to get checked in. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to get us into a room. After getting to our room we noticed an odd musty odor. The pillows and sheets smelled like mildew. The sheets and towels were so scratchy and uncomfortable. I didn’t feel clean at all. The hotel does have an amazing restaurant. The food was outstanding. But honestly I was so glad we only had to stay there for 1 night. I would have found a different hotel otherwise.

Location OK, not great.
Was expecting a much higher end hotel, with space and comfort. Rooms were small not even enough room for a sofa, only a single chair. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean, with a newish decor. No closet, and the door to the mini fridge and microwave were blocked by the sliding bathroom door when it was open. Not much space to store luggage either, fortunately there was a drawer on either side of the bed underneath. The hotel was only three floors, no good views of the city or anywhere near the falls. Staff was not always available at the front desk.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Becky was the best. I don't know if she is the manager, but she went all out to make sure we had what we needed. Hotel Voco is very walkable to the Falls and park. There are many places to eat that are walkable as well.

Great hotel. The property was clean and well maintained. The room was amazing. And the next door restaurant made for a perfect evening. The front desk staff who helped us check in had a little rude tone & was dismissive but everyone else we interacted with were very polite & friendly.

The room was not as clean as expected for this hotel. Our room was not made up on the second day and housekeeping staff was not helpful at all. There is a strong unpleasant odor in the hallway anobby. Further, youhave a rodent problem with mice in the lobby. Lastly, the historic tax should be explained during booking intead of a surprise at checkout.

The staff were very welcoming, personable, accommodating, and offered great recommendations when ask for dinning and things to do. The location as very convenient to everything including venturing into Canada. Although, the hotel seems a bit older, it is very modern looking and newly renovated. Our room was on the smaller size but had everything we needed and it had a balcony which was a bonus. Additionally the on site restaurant was amazing and the quality, variety, and portions of foods was perfect. So convenient if your look for a good quality meal before your sightseeing or if tired after the end of your day to have a nice meal and drink, then head up to your room.
