"The hotel is in a stunning area, close to multiple tube stations and lots of shops and spots to eat or drink. The room itself was roomy and clean, with a great bathroom and a bed that was shockingly comfy. Daily fresh towels and coffee/tea, which is was very pleasantly surprised by. Also, solo travellers: This is the spot for you if you're afraid of feeling unsafe for whatever reason. The area almost felt like a little village, safe and welcoming. "

"We spent 5 nights at this hotel and were overall very happy. We had a freshly renovated room on the 7th floor which was very clean, quiet and had the wonderful bonus of windows that could be opened for fresh air. While the hotel is currently undergoing renovation, and there is scaffolding at the front, it didn’t bother us at all. It’s worth noting that areas like the reception, bar and breakfast room are still awaiting renovation, but that didn’t affect our experience significantly. The bar was a nice touch, and while the breakfast was okay, we felt there was room for improvement. Particularly the cheese selection and maybe the overall presentation. That said, we’re confident these upgrades will come as the renovation progresses. Our bed was very comfortable and everything felt clean and well-kept. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive and we felt very safe, especially knowing there’s on-site security during the night. One of the real highlights is the location: directly across from Hyde Park, with places like Notting Hill, Oxford Street, and Chelsea all within walking distance if you're up for a stroll. From our floor, we also had a lovely distant view of the London skyline. Even though renovations are ongoing, we felt this was simply part of a hotel's natural upgrade cycle and it didn't take away from our experience at all. We’d absolutely recommend this hotel - especially once renovations are complete, it's going to be even better!"
