"Ich wollte ursprünglich in Cambridge übernachten und stiess per Zufall auf the High Flyer in Ely. Das Profilbild mit dem Alice im Wunderland-Thema sprach mich an. Zum Glück entschied ich mich um. Es war super. Das Zimmer mit Bad und Dusche ist gross und das Bett sehr bequem. Es hat viel Tee, Kaffee und Kekse zur Verfügung und der TV ist riesig. Es hat genügend Abstellfläche.
Zum Hotel gehört ein Pub und eine Teestube. Ich habe an beiden Abenden dort gegessen und es war immer sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das ganze Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert.
Beim Roomservice wurde alles super aufgefüllt und respektiert, dass ich die Frotteewäsche aufgehängt und nochmals brauchen wollte.
Das Hotel ist zu Fuss vom Bahnhof Ely in ca 20 Minuten erreichbar. Das Stadtzentrum mit der wunderschönen Kathedrale ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Ely war absolut ein Besuch wert. Es ist ein schönes Städtchen und das Übernachten im the High Flyer kann ich sehr empfehlen. "
